“Some beautiful paths can’t be discovered without getting lost.”― Erol Ozan
About
As a registered social worker and practicing psychotherapist, I feel privileged to offer mental health therapy to individuals navigating a variety of challenging experiences including (and not limited to) anxiety, depression, interpersonal difficulties, communication challenges, life or family transitions, and to those impacted by chronic illness or cancer, whether a personal diagnosis, a family member, friend, or caregiver. I use a client-centered, trauma-informed integrative approach to psychotherapy grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I provide a non-judgmental, open and safe space for you to talk about your experience, explore what you value, what matters most to you, and what you are hopeful for in creating a path forward. We can work together to discover new ways of being, gain further understanding of yourself and experiences, access resources and tools helpful to your specific interests, and move toward living well today.
What to Expect
Our initial session is a chance for us to get to know each other, where we can explore what motivated you to book an appointment, what you hope for out of the therapeutic experience, and I can answer any questions you might have. I’ll support you to determine if I am a therapist fit for what you are looking for. It is always an honour to be a trusted person to walk beside someone during a time of difficulty or challenge. If we work together, we’ll look to build upon your strengths and insights moving in a direction meaningful to you.

Rates and Insurance
The fee for a 50-minute session is $175. Forms of payment include email money transfer, cheque, cash, or credit card. Most private health insurance providers cover the services of a Registered Social Worker, and if you are unsure about your coverage, you can always contact your insurance company to confirm the type and amount of coverage they provide.
